How you define yourself is a central theme in this story. I could see myself as Leine, trying to protect the children or searching until everyone was found.What did you think of the ending? The ending was okay, but I expected more in terms of closure for the children.
What was the mystery was and how it was solved. Leine searched for Mara and she did find her.
